Past fellows share why the nephrology fellowship at IU School of Medicine was the right program for their careers.
The nephrology faculty are so approachable, the research is robust, and the patient exposure is phenomenal. We have a lot of dedicated learning time and our feedback is taken very seriously.
Good mix of clinical exposure. Outstanding and supportive faculty. Nice city with places to hang out and de-stress.
Diverse clinical experiences spread over multiple hospitals and populations including a transplant center. Excellent teaching faculty. Down-to-earth attendings who are very nurturing and supportive of fellows. I liked the concept of the intersessions.

Really liked my residency experience at Indiana University because it offers a great exposure to a variety of clinical cases on all 4 hospitals on campus. There is a great academic culture here. Nephrology experience as a resident at IU provided me with great insight about life as a fellow at IU. Nephrology teams are structured around the fellow and they get autonomy to run the service with the right amount of supervision. I feel very confident heading out into practice.

Here at Indiana University all the faculty are helpful, and they help us grow in our area of interest like clinical/research/home modalities. Fellows' feedback is strongly considered. Our program has experts in different fields of Nephrology and prepares us well for practice.
