Ophthalmology Fellowships Programs
IU School of Medicine offers three competitive post-residency fellowship programs in ophthalmology. The Glaucoma Fellowship Program accepts one fellow each academic year and is focused on the research and treatment of glaucoma. The Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus Fellowship Program accepts two fellows per academic year and focuses on premature retinopathy and ophthalmic surgery. The Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship is a newly re-established, two-year clinical fellowship with goals to provide a comprehensive training experience in the diagnosis and management of a broad spectrum of vitreoretinal diseases.
